Terms of Service

Welcome to Tether Social Inc. (“Tether Social,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, including our website, mobile applications (available on Apple App Store and Google Play), and any related features and tools (collectively, the “Services”).

By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Services.

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use our Services. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use Tether Social.

2. Your Account
You may need to create an account to use certain features of the Services. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information;

Keep your password secure;

Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for any violation of these Terms.

3. User Content
a. Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content that you post, upload, share, or otherwise make available through the Services (“User Content”).

b. License to Tether Social
By submitting User Content, you grant Tether Social Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, publicly perform, and publicly display your content in connection with the operation, promotion, and marketing of the Services—including across digital, print, and broadcast media formats.

This includes the right to feature or highlight your content in advertising, promotional campaigns, investor materials, app store screenshots, or press coverage.

We will always credit creators where appropriate and respect your privacy preferences in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You can remove your content at any time from your profile. However, content already shared in promotional materials may remain in circulation.

4. Content Restrictions
You agree not to post or share content that:

  • Contains illegal, harmful, or offensive material;

  • Promotes harassment, hate, or violence;

  • Contains sexually explicit or pornographic material;

  • Violates someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights;

  • Is spammy, misleading, or malicious in nature.

We reserve the right to remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms or app store content guidelines.

5. User Conduct
You agree to use the Services respectfully and legally. You may not:

  • Use the Services to harass, threaten, or impersonate others;

  • Disrupt the experience for others (e.g., through spamming or trolling);

  • Circumvent security measures or engage in unauthorized access;

  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools without our permission.

Violations may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your account.

6. In-App Purchases
Some features or content may be available via in-app purchases, which are processed securely through:

  • Apple’s In-App Purchase for iOS, and

  • Google Play Billing for Android.

All in-app purchases are final and governed by Apple and Google’s respective terms and refund policies.

7. Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and safeguard your information. By using the Services, you consent to our data practices.

We do not sell your personal data. If you are under 18, additional parental consent and protections may apply based on your jurisdiction.

8. Permissions
We may request access to your device’s camera, photos, microphone, location, or storage to enable certain features. You’ll always be asked for permission, and you can manage access in your device settings.

9. Push Notifications
With your consent, we may send you push notifications or alerts. You can manage these in your device’s system settings.

10. Third-Party Content & Links
Our Services may include third-party links or content. Tether Social is not responsible for third-party services, terms, or practices.

11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or other applicable policies.

12. Disclaimers
Our Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees that they will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your use of the Services is at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tether Social is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Services.

14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tether Social Inc., its affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims or liabilities related to:

Your content;

Your use of the Services;

Your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

15. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll notify you of major changes via the app or email. Continued use after updates constitutes your agreement to the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia. All disputes must be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
